Ethylene Oxide Sterilisers

We work with a UK based company to set up an Ethylene Oxide Gas Sterilisers that are fully automatic cabinets that sterilise a diverse variety of materials e.g. plastic, rubber, metal, mechanic or sensitive electronic medical and surgical materials and laboratory equipment by applying the bactericidal agent, Ethylene Oxide
(C2H4O), at 54 C. Using the latest technology, the need for pressurised air, water, vacuum lines and
drainage lines that are required by conventional gas sterilisers has been eliminated. This has
increased the amount of materials that can be sterilised in one cycle considerably.
The units maximise sterilisation safety by using ampoules that contain 100% Ethylene
Oxide gas for sterilisation.
Compared to its rivals, the gas consumption of the ETO we offer is much lower and more efficient providing a greater return on investment and saving the running cost.

Each gas ampoule contains either; 5g, 11g or 20g of ethylene oxide. As a result of this, the
safety of the user and the system are increased, gas consumption is reduced and the level of
potential environmental pollution is lowered. Ventilation is performed in the same cabinet,
thus removing residual ethylene oxide. The cycle process is in conformance with:
